Reflecting on 2024, looking forward to 2025: A message from our co-founder

As the year draws to a close, I can't help but reflect on what an incredible year it's been for Engine. Celebrating our first birthday was a huge milestone, and I'm immensely proud of the journey we've embarked on.

This year, we've had the pleasure of forming some fantastic partnerships. Working with FE Associates FEA (UK), we've developed AI solutions that enable colleges and training providers to engage in truly data-driven quality improvement planning. Our collaboration with Coram, the UK’s oldest children's charity, has been rewarding too. Together, we're exploring how AI can safely lighten the administrative load in children's social care, allowing social workers to focus on achieving the best outcomes for vulnerable children.

Our solutions have already made a real difference across a host of organisations in the public and voluntary sector, from schools and colleges to councils and charities. We've also loved working with so many new customers in the private sector to help them adopt AI, supporting facilities management, consultancy, legal services, care, and procurement providers, in the UK and beyond. Seeing our AI create unique, winning bids, write plans and support staff without adding to the load on core teams has been incredible.

Looking ahead to 2025, I'm excited for what comes next. The future of AI holds immense potential, and I'm committed to continually evolving our offer: developing our tools as well as expanding our advisory service. With advances like increased data capability and image recognition on the horizon, and a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and techUK we're poised to deliver even more innovative solutions in the next few months.

At Engine, our passion and values drive what we do. Curiosity has fuelled a lifelong interest in transformation, and I'm dedicated to finding more and more ways to harness the power of secure, world-class AI to change the game for our clients and partners.

As the year winds down, I hope everyone has the chance to spend quality time with family and friends. Whether you're celebrating Christmas or simply taking a well-deserved break, I wish you joy, relaxation, and a wonderful start to the new year.
